About Randy

Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit and County Court Mediator

Florida Qualified Court-Appointed Arbitrator

Randy is a Florida Supreme Court Certified County and Circuit Mediator and Florida Qualified Court-Appointed Arbitrator with years of experience as a civil litigator. As a mediator and arbitrator, Randy draws upon extensive experience mediating and arbitrating disputes on behalf of his clients, including individuals, insurers, small businesses, and corporations.

Prior to engaging in his mediation and arbitration practice full-time, Randy worked as a trial attorney, handling a broad range of civil disputes, including property claims, personal injury, premises and general liability, construction defect, and automobile accidents. Randy is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.

He is an alumni of the University of Central Florida and the Barry University School of Law. Randy is a former Top 100 civil attorney in Florida, as rated by The National Trial Lawyers. Additionally, he has been recognized by The Florida Bar and Florida Supreme Court for his pro bono service.

Prior to entering the legal field, Randy served in the United States Army and is a decorated combat veteran. Randy draws upon his years of military and legal experience to encourage discussion in a confidential and respectful manner, while focusing on durable resolutions for all parties.

Fee Schedule

RETENTION OF SERVICES AS A MEDIATOR & ARBITRATOR

$175 per party, per hour

A “party” is defined as all parties represented by the same counsel. Services include time spent at the mediation conference or arbitration, preparation, phone or in-person conferences, and related reporting assistance.

Minimum Fees

Half Day (4 hours or less): 3 hours minimum
Full Day (over 4 hours): 6 hours minimum

Cancellation Policy

The mediator reserves the right to charge a cancelation fee for any mediation canceled within five (5) business days of the scheduled mediation. The cancelation fee, if exercised by the mediator, will be identified in the confirmation letter.

Billing & Payment

Invoices are issued promptly after the mediation or arbitration and due upon receipt. Unless agreed otherwise, each party is billed separately. Services are retained by counsel, who are responsible for timely payment. Payment instructions are provided on the invoice.
